Milling of grooves with the PWP system

Short grooves with shallow depths can be produced cost-effectively with a double-edged PWP end mill with an accuracy of ±0.02 mm.

Due to the quick-change capability of the inserts and a high changeover accuracy, machining can usually be continued immediately after a tool change without having to readjust the tool. Compared to solid carbide end mills, the PWP end mill has a significant price advantage.
